Luncheon with Marina von Neumann Whitman

Professors Laura Jackson Young and Meghan Esson took a group of 11 students to meet with Marina v.N. Whitman, Professor of Business Administration and Public Policy emerita from the University of Michigan. Marina has quite an impressive resume from her academic, policy, and private sector career as a very successful woman in economics. She was the first woman to serve on the President’s Council of Economic Advisers and is the author of "The Martian's Daughter: A Memoir”. Marina is now retired and living at Newbury Court in Concord. The group visited Newbury Court for a luncheon with Marina reading a portion of the first chapter of her memoir which delves in to how she got to where she is today and a Q&A session with the students.
